The FIG Young Surveyors North American Network is also called NSPS Young
Surveyors Network as it is under the umbrella and working closely together
with NSPS (National Society of Professional Surveyors). In 2014 the 1st FIG
Young Surveyors North American Meeting took place in San Diego, California.
25 enthusiastic surveyors from 15 states had a lively discussion on how to
establish a Young Surveyors presence and program within North America. The
Meeting was just the starting point and the Network continued their hard
work and published this
toolkit.
There you can find the Mission and Vision Statement as well as how they
organise themselves. It’s the first toolkit and therefor it is a huge and
important step not just for the American Network, this can be used and
adapted all around the world.
