January 2022

Congratulations to Geomares - the FIG Corporate Member of the Month in January 2022

Geomares is a long-term member of FIG and also a faithful gold-media parter at FIG Working Week and Congresses.

Last year, in 2021, Geomares was one of the organising partners of the FIG e-Working Week 2021.

In 2020 when the on-site participation of FIG Working Week had to be cancelled, Geomares generously offered to publish a newsletter each day during the week with articles. This resulted in the creation of 26 special articles.

FIG thanks Geomares for their continued support and for the close and good cooperation over the years.

We have received the following information from Geomares:

Geomares is an international media and marketing agency with mainly clients from the (geo) technical, hydrographic and maritime sectors. But the majority of the people active in the FIG community will know Geomares of publishing GIM International, Hydro International and Geo-matching. With the printed magazines, online platforms and newsletters of GIM, Hydro and Geo-matching are, and have been for decades, in the forefront of informing members of the global geo-community with news and feature articles on policy-, product- and technology developments. Geomares helps companies grow globally by devising smart marketing campaigns and executing them for their customers. Geomares has been corporate member of FIG for more than 20 years, advocating and supporting the message of land surveying for the betterment of societies across the globe.

Should your Company become 'Corporate Member of the Month'?

To be considered for Corporate Member of the Month, you need to send a statement to fig@fig.net with arguments why you think you should be considered as Corporate Member of the Month. In addition to information on why you should become corporate member of the month, we would like to receive a brief introduction to your company or a news item you would like this column to focus on to supplement the article.
