First femaile Quantity Surveyor elected 50th President of Ghana Institution of Surveyors

Rosemargaret Esubonteng was elected as the 50th president of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GHIS)

Rosemargaret Esubonteng was on 25th February 2022 elected as the 50th PRESIDENT of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) at the 53rd Annual General Meeting of GhIS. She emerges as the 1st FEMALE QUANTITY SURVEYOR to assume the Presidency of the GhIS in the 53 years of its existence in Ghana. We congratulate Rosemargaret for this outstanding achievement.

Rosemargaret is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager who has worked with both Private and Public Sector Clients; a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). She has worked as a built environment professional for more than thirty-seven years.

Rosemargaret Esubonteng states:
"A real privilege to be the first Female Quantity Surveyor to hold the position, and I am joining three other great women who are Valuation & Estate Surveyors having previously held the position.  My fellow Quantity Surveyors are so very proud and I am so very grateful of their support they even sponsored an advert in our biggest national newspaper.  It is such an honour to be able to serve the Institution in this capacity.”
